Ted Barela joined BHI after retiring from the NMDOT, bringing more than 25 years of hands-on experience as an inspector, project manager, and area project manager for the oversight of major highway construction projects. He possesses an exceptional working knowledge of construction regarding design, construction, and maintenance, as well as the funding processes. Ted’s current responsibilities as a Senior Vice President with BHI are focused on the operation and staffing of the construction management augmentation program.
